Overview
bet365 is a Stoke-on-Trent business that built its name on sports betting and sells a casino product from the same customer account. This profile covers the casino side for players in Great Britain.
It is desk research. The licence details come from the Gambling Commission public register and the payment and support details from bet365’s own help centre. We have not opened an account, deposited or played.
Licence and ownership
The register lists Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC under account number 55149. It holds an active Casino (Remote) licence, recorded from 17 October 2019. The trading name bet365 and the domain bet365.com are both attached to that account.
Sports betting sits under a separate register entry, Hillside (UK Sports) ENC (account 55148), which also lists bet365.com. So the casino and the sportsbook share a website but hold different licences.
The register records one regulatory action against account 55149: a settlement dated 4 April 2024. The Commission’s summary says a review found weaknesses in anti-money laundering controls and in measures to protect customers from gambling harm. The full public statement is on the register.
Games
We could not load bet365’s casino lobby with our research tools, so we have not confirmed the current game range from the operator itself. We would rather leave this gap than repeat claims from third-party sites.
Whatever the line-up, any online slots offered to British players fall under the national stake limits described below. Check the casino lobby for current categories such as slots, live dealer tables and card games before relying on any summary.
Payments and withdrawals
bet365’s help centre lists the following deposit options in GBP:
- Debit card
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- Skrill and Neteller
- paysafecard
The page is a general one rather than a UK-only page, and it also mentions credit cards. Credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain, so treat the cashier on your own account as the final word on what is available.
The withdrawal methods page gives these indicative processing times: Apple Pay instant; PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer 1 to 4 hours; debit card 1 to 5 banking days. For debit card and bank transfer requests it says bet365 aims to process them within 2 hours of receipt.
The UK help page on withdrawals says the account must be fully verified first. Winnings usually go back to the original deposit method, and otherwise by bank transfer. Bank details are checked with a Confirmation of Payee check and must belong to a personal account.
Player protection and support
Under Gambling Commission rules, online operators must check a customer’s age and identity before they can gamble. Credit card gambling has been banned since 14 April 2020. Online slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24, limits that came in on 9 April and 21 May 2025.
Players who want to block all GB-licensed gambling sites at once can register with GAMSTOP, a free multi-operator self-exclusion scheme.
bet365’s contact page lists live chat 24 hours a day, a web form, social media and a postal address at bet365 House, Stoke-on-Trent. No phone number is shown.
Our view
bet365 suits players who already use it for sport and want casino games on the same account. Its licence position is clear on the register, and the help centre is detailed about withdrawal times.
Before signing up, check account 55149 on the register yourself, read the 2024 public statement, and confirm the payment options in the cashier rather than the general help page. This is an 18+ product.
