  • Card withdrawals up to $40,000, per the help centre
  • One account for sports betting and casino on on.bet365.ca

  • Funds to an international card may take several extra banking days

How we scored it

9.1/10
  • Licence and authorization 10.0
    Evidence

iGaming Ontario lists on.bet365.ca. The Ontario terms name Hillside (International Gaming) ENC for the casino and Hillside (International Sports) ENC for the sportsbook, registered with the AGCO under OPIG1232411 and acting as agent of iGO. The regulator list, the terms and the registration number all line up, so this criterion scores full marks.

  • Ownership transparency 8.5
    Evidence

The Ontario terms name both Hillside companies with their Malta registration numbers (P1887 and P1891) and their registered office at Quantum House, 75 Abate Rigord Street, Ta' Xbiex. They refer only to the 'bet365 group' in general terms rather than naming a parent company, which is why ownership scores below licensing.

  • Withdrawal terms 8.5
    Evidence

bet365's Ontario withdrawal page gives a time for each method (Interac, debit and PayPal in 1 to 4 hours, wire within 12 hours, Apple Pay instant) and minimum and maximum amounts in CAD, with no fees listed. The terms require cleared deposits and completed verification, and set no daily maximum. Withdrawal fees are not explicitly confirmed as zero, so check the cashier before you cash out.

  • Local payment methods 9.5
    Evidence

Interac, through online banking and e-Transfer, works for deposits and withdrawals from $10 to $10,000, with Autodeposit supported. Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and paysafecard are also offered, all in CAD. Having Interac in both directions plus several mobile wallets, all in Canadian dollars, is why this score is near the top.

  • Customer support 9.0
    Evidence

The Ontario contact page offers live chat and social media 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, plus an email webform. There is no phone number. We could not find whether help is available in French, so if you need it, ask through live chat before you deposit.

  • Player protection tools 9.0
    Evidence

The Ontario responsible gambling site and terms list deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks, an activity tracker, time out, self exclusion, gambling blocks and a budget calculator, with BetGuard and ConnexOntario referenced. That is one of the fuller toolsets we found. We found no wager limits or PlaySmart link, so the score stops short of the maximum.

  • Site and app experience Not assessed yet
  • Complaints record 9.0
    Evidence

Our searches of AGCO news releases on agco.ca, and wider web searches for AGCO penalties, found no regulatory action or monetary penalty against the Hillside companies or bet365 Ontario. That clean record supports a high score. We did not review player complaint sites, so read recent player feedback if it matters to you.

Overview

bet365 is a privately owned UK gambling company, best known for sports betting, that also runs casino and live dealer games. In Ontario everything sits on one site, on.bet365.ca, which combines sports betting and casino products.

This review is desk research based on the regulator’s directory and bet365’s Ontario help centre. We have not played on the site.

Licence and ownership

bet365 is listed on the iGaming Ontario regulated market directory, linked to on.bet365.ca. The directory shows a list of 49 registered operators but does not say which company runs which site.

bet365’s Ontario terms (version 4.0, effective 20 April 2026) name the company you contract with. The casino and live casino are run by Hillside (International Gaming) ENC and the sportsbook by Hillside (International Sports) ENC, both Malta companies registered with the AGCO under OPIG1232411 and acting as agents of iGaming Ontario. The help centre itself shows only a general bet365 copyright line, so the terms are where to look.

The name matters because of how Ontario is set up. The AGCO registers and regulates private operators, while iGaming Ontario, a provincial agency, contracts with them and conducts and manages the games. The registered company is the one acting as iGaming Ontario’s agent, which is why both bodies usually appear in a site’s footer and terms.

Start with the directory: search for bet365 and check that the address you are using matches on.bet365.ca. A site that is not on the directory is not part of Ontario’s regulated market, whatever its footer says.

Games

The Ontario help centre includes guidance on return-to-player (RTP) and volatility for casino games, which points to a slots and casino offering alongside sports betting. We could not review the casino lobby itself, so we have not listed game categories or providers. Each game’s information panel in the lobby will show its RTP figure and stake limits.

Payments and withdrawals

Payments are the best-documented part of bet365’s Ontario offer. The help centre’s deposit methods and withdrawal methods pages list the following, all in Canadian dollars:

  • Interac: deposits $10 to $10,000, credited instantly with no fee; withdrawals $10 to $10,000, processed in 1 to 4 hours and returned by Interac transfer.
  • Debit and credit cards: deposits $10 to $50,000; withdrawals $10 to $40,000, processed in 1 to 4 hours and returned to the same card where possible.
  • Apple Pay: deposits $10 to $50,000; withdrawals go back to the underlying card.
  • PayPal: deposits $40 to $12,500; withdrawals $20 to $12,500 to the same PayPal account.
  • Google Pay ($10 to $10,000) and paysafecard ($10 to $400) are listed for deposits only.
  • Wire transfer is available for withdrawals from $10 to $25,000, processed within 12 hours.

Processing time is how long bet365 takes to send the money, not when it lands. Your bank or wallet may take longer to show it, and international cards can take two to five banking days.

Player protection and support

Ontario players must be 19 or older and in the province to play. The help centre covers account security, including bet365’s authenticator app. As on every Ontario-regulated site, deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion should be available in your account, and ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) provides free and confidential support.

Our view

bet365 fits Ontario players who want one account for sports and casino, and who value published payment limits and short stated processing times.

Before you sign up, confirm the site on the iGaming Ontario directory and read the terms to see which company you are contracting with. If you plan to deposit with Google Pay or paysafecard, set up Interac or a bank account for withdrawals at the same time, since neither of those two options supports cashing out.
