How we scored it

Evidence for 5 of 7 criteria so far

No overall score yet. We publish one only when every weighted criterion has evidence, so the number never looks more certain than the research behind it. Still open: local payment methods, customer support.

  • Licence and authorization 10.0
    Evidence

FanDuel Canada ULC appears on the iGaming Ontario list with casino.fanduel.ca. The casino footer says the site is authorized by the AGCO, shows registration OPIG1234013 and carries a FanDuel Canada ULC copyright line, and the Ontario terms name the same company. Every source points to one entity, which is why this criterion scores full marks.

  • Ownership transparency 7.5
    Evidence

The Ontario terms, which cover casino.fanduel.ca, name FanDuel Canada ULC and refer to the FanDuel Group Parent LLC group of companies, so the corporate chain is clear. We could not find an address for the operating company on the site or in the terms, and that gap lowered the score. If you need one for a complaint, ask support.

    Sources: d38ayms4az88sz.cloudfront.net, casino.fanduel.ca
  • Withdrawal terms 5.5
    Evidence

The terms commit only to commercially reasonable efforts to process withdrawals within 5 working days, subject to verification, paid to the original deposit method where possible. They also set a $5 chargeback fee and a $500 pre arbitration fee, and balances are forfeited after 36 months without a login under applicable regulations. We could not find payout times or limits for each method, so ask support before you rely on one.

  • Local payment methods Not assessed yet
  • Customer support Not assessed yet
  • Player protection tools 7.5
    Evidence

The terms describe daily, weekly and monthly deposit and wager limits, time limits, account suspension of at least 72 hours, self exclusion separate from BetGuard, and 24 months of account history, and the footer gives ConnexOntario. We found no loss limits, reality checks, PlaySmart link or Ontario Patron Protection page. If a loss limit matters to you, check your account settings before you play.

  • Site and app experience 7.0
    Evidence

FanDuel offers a dedicated FanDuel Online Casino app for Ontario, for players 19 and over who are physically in the province. It is listed on the Apple App Store (Canada) and on Google Play as 'Ontario Only', and the footer links the T&Cs. We did not confirm whether each game shows its payout rate (RTP), so check a game's info screen before you play.

  • Complaints record 7.0
    Evidence

On January 8, 2026 the AGCO imposed a $350,000 penalty on FanDuel Canada ULC for failing to identify and report suspicious betting and match fixing on Czech table tennis in late 2024. The case concerns the sportsbook, not the casino, which is why the score is reduced only moderately. We reviewed AGCO news releases; player complaint sites were not part of this review.

Overview

FanDuel built its name on daily fantasy sports and its US sportsbook. In Ontario it runs a casino at casino.fanduel.ca alongside a sportsbook and a poker site, and this review covers the casino only.

It is a desk research profile drawn from the regulator’s directory and FanDuel’s own public pages. FanDuel’s Ontario help and terms pages were not available for us to review, so parts of this profile are deliberately brief. Where something is missing, we say so and tell you what to check.

Licence and ownership

FanDuel Casino, FanDuel Poker and FanDuel Sportsbook all appear on the iGaming Ontario regulated market directory, the official list of sites offered by AGCO-registered operators under agreements with iGaming Ontario. “FanDuel Canada ULC” is on the directory’s operator list, although the directory does not link operators to individual sites.

The casino’s footer names FanDuel Canada ULC and states that the site “has been authorized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario”. It also quotes a licence number. We have not been able to match that number against the AGCO’s own records, so we do not repeat it here. For most players, finding the brand on the iGO directory is the quickest reassurance.

Ontario splits the job between two bodies. The AGCO registers and regulates private operators such as FanDuel, while iGaming Ontario, a provincial agency, contracts with them and conducts and manages the games. Operators offer their sites as agents of iGaming Ontario, which is why you see both names in footers and terms.

When you search the directory, compare the listed web address with the one you are using. A site that is not on the directory is not part of Ontario’s regulated market, whatever its footer says.

Games

When we checked, the casino lobby was split into these main areas:

  • Slots, with sections for jackpots, progressives and exclusives
  • Live casino
  • Table games, including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps and video poker
  • Pick and play games such as Slingo and keno
  • Arcade games

The exact titles change regularly, so use the lobby itself to check whether a specific game or provider is offered in Ontario.

Payments and withdrawals

The casino home page does not list payment methods, and FanDuel’s Ontario payments help pages and terms of use were not available for us to review. For that reason we have not listed any deposit or withdrawal methods for FanDuel in Ontario.

Settle these points in the cashier and the terms before you deposit:

  • Which methods can be used for withdrawals, not just deposits
  • Whether withdrawals must go back to the method you deposited with
  • Any minimum withdrawal amount, processing time or fee
  • What identity documents may be requested before your first payout

Player protection and support

The footer states that people under 19 may not take part in online casino gaming in Ontario and that players must be physically in the province. It lists ConnexOntario’s free helpline (1-866-531-2600) and website for anyone who wants to talk to an advisor about their gambling, and links to Help, Support, the terms and the privacy policy. Ontario-regulated operators must provide responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits and self-exclusion; your account settings show the options FanDuel offers.

Our view

FanDuel Casino fits Ontario players who want a recognizable North American brand with a mix of slots, live dealer games and table games, and who may also use FanDuel’s sportsbook or poker product.

Without its Ontario payment and withdrawal terms, we cannot say how FanDuel’s cashier compares with other operators. Confirm the site on the iGaming Ontario directory and read the terms of use before you register. If anything about withdrawals is unclear, ask support in writing so you have the answer on record.
