Overview

BetMGM is a familiar name in the United States. In Great Britain it trades on betmgm.co.uk, offering casino, live casino and a sportsbook. The British site is run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, the same company behind LeoVegas.

Licence and ownership

The register lists betmgm.co.uk as an active domain under LeoVegas Gaming PLC, account number 39198. That account holds active remote licences for casino (from 1 November 2014), bingo, and general betting on real and virtual events.

BetMGM does not appear as a separate trading name on the register, so the domain listing is the link between the brand and the licence. BetMGM’s own terms confirm that LeoVegas Gaming PLC operates the site.

At the time of our check, the register showed no regulatory actions against account 39198.

Anyone can confirm this by searching the public register for betmgm.co.uk or the account number. The entry lists the licence activities, their status and the domains attached, so it is the quickest way to spot a change.

BetMGM’s terms group its gaming products as Casino and Live Casino, including progressive jackpots, alongside a sportsbook. The site navigation lists:

BetMGM’s terms say customers cannot gamble or deposit until their name, address and date of birth have been verified. The Gambling Commission requires online operators to check age and identity before any gambling.

Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020.
