BetMGM Casino review (UK)

Overview

BetMGM is a familiar name in the United States. In Great Britain it trades on betmgm.co.uk, offering casino, live casino and a sportsbook. The British site is run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, the company behind LeoVegas.

This review is desk research. Licence facts come from the Gambling Commission public register, and operator details from BetMGM’s UK terms and help centre. We have not opened an account, deposited or played.

Licence and ownership

On the register, betmgm.co.uk is an active domain under LeoVegas Gaming PLC, account number 39198. That account holds active remote licences for casino (from 1 November 2014), bingo, and general betting on real and virtual events.

BetMGM is not a separate trading name on the register, so the domain listing is what connects the brand to the licence. BetMGM’s own terms confirm that LeoVegas Gaming PLC operates the site.

When we checked, the register showed no regulatory actions against account 39198.

To confirm the link yourself, search the public register for betmgm.co.uk or the account number. The entry lists the licence activities, their status and the attached domains, which makes it the quickest place to spot a change.

Games

BetMGM’s terms group its gaming products as Casino and Live Casino, including progressive jackpots, next to a sportsbook. The site navigation lists:

• Slots, including Megaways titles
• Table games: roulette, blackjack and baccarat
• Live game shows
• Poker

Online slots offered to British players follow the national stake limits set out below.

Payments and withdrawals

BetMGM’s UK help centre lists four methods for both deposits and withdrawals, each with a £10 minimum:

• Payment card: up to £3,000 per deposit, £8,000 per withdrawal
• Bank transfer: up to £10,000 deposit, £35,000 withdrawal
• PayPal: up to £10,000 deposit, £4,000 withdrawal
• Apple Pay: up to £3,000 deposit, £8,000 withdrawal

Under the terms, withdrawals go back to the deposit method wherever possible and only to accounts in your own name. Wire transfers are paid only to UK bank accounts. Withdrawals under £10 must go through support and may incur a processing fee, and payouts can be held until checks are complete.

Player protection and support

Under BetMGM’s terms you cannot gamble or deposit until your name, address and date of birth have been verified. The Gambling Commission requires online operators to check age and identity before any gambling.

Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020. Online slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24, limits in force since 9 April and 21 May 2025. Our view

BetMGM UK will suit players who like the brand and want casino, live tables and sport in one account. The licence position is sound, though it runs through LeoVegas Gaming PLC rather than a company carrying the BetMGM name.

Check that betmgm.co.uk still appears on the domain list for account 39198, look up current withdrawal times in the help centre, and read the withdrawal terms before you sign up. This is an 18+ product.
