Overview

bet365 is a UK-founded online gambling group that runs a casino and sportsbook in New Jersey. The DGE’s August 2026 revenue release lists bet365 under Hard Rock, and its year-to-date online casino win rose more than 80% compared with the year before.

This is desk research from DGE documents and bet365’s New Jersey help center.

License and ownership

The DGE lists internet gaming permit NJIGP 26-010 for Hard Rock Boardwalk 1000, LLC d/b/a Hard Rock Hotel Casino. The Hard Rock’s Q2 2026 report to the DGE says the casino has an Online Gaming Operations Agreement with Hillside (New Jersey) LLC, referred to as bet365.

bet365’s NJ site does not show license details in the page we reviewed, so rely on the DGE permit list and the DGE revenue release for the license link. The same release also lists a bet365 sportsbook under the Hard Rock license, so casino and sports run on one permit here.

Games

The New Jersey casino lobby groups games into:

  • Slots, including Megaways, bonus buy and Atlantic City themed sections
  • Exclusive and in-house titles
  • Table games: blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps and sic bo
  • Video poker
  • Jackpot networks such as Age of the Gods
  • Live dealer card games, roulette and game shows
  • Arcade titles including Slingo and keno

Payments and withdrawals

bet365’s NJ help center lists deposits by Apple Pay, debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover), online banking through Trustly, Venmo, PayPal, PayNearMe and cash at the Hard Rock cage. Most deposits are listed as instant; PayNearMe posts within 15 minutes.

Withdrawal methods and published times are:

  • Apple Pay: instant, $10 to $30,000
  • Debit card: 1 to 4 hours, $10 to $30,000
  • Online banking (Trustly): 1 to 4 hours, $10 to $50,000
  • Venmo and PayPal: 1 to 4 hours, $10 to $20,000
  • Cash at Hard Rock Atlantic City: instant, $1 to $30,000

Where possible, card and Apple Pay withdrawals go back to the card used to deposit, and Venmo or PayPal withdrawals go to the account used to deposit. Cash withdrawals need a six-digit code from customer service and ID at the cashier. Details are on bet365’s NJ withdrawal methods page.

Player protection and support

New Jersey’s internet gaming rules (N.J.A.C. 13:69O) set the legal age at 21 and require operators to check a player’s physical location at login. Wagers are only accepted from people who are physically in New Jersey, so a VPN or an out-of-state device will be blocked.

bet365’s NJ casino site says you must be over 21 to play and shows the 1-800-GAMBLER message.

The New Jersey Attorney General’s responsible gaming page points players to the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline. If a complaint with the operator is not resolved, the DGE accepts disputes once the player has a written response from the casino permit holder. The DGE’s internet gaming contact is igaming@njdge.gov or (609) 984-0909. See the DGE internet gaming information page and the Responsible Gaming in New Jersey page.

Our view

bet365 suits New Jersey players who want clear, published payment limits and a large lobby with its own exclusive games. The license chain runs through Hard Rock Atlantic City.

Before signing up, check the DGE permit list and plan your deposit method around how you want to withdraw, since payouts usually return to the original source. Keep your ID handy if you plan to use the cash option.
