Overview

FanDuel Casino is the online casino arm of FanDuel, best known for its sportsbook and daily fantasy products. In New Jersey, the DGE’s August 2026 revenue release lists FanDuel’s online casino under Golden Nugget, and it had the highest year-to-date internet gaming win of any brand in that release.

This is desk research from DGE documents and FanDuel’s own pages.

License and ownership

The DGE lists internet gaming permit NJIGP 26-002 for Golden Nugget Atlantic City, LLC. Golden Nugget’s Q2 2026 report to the DGE lists FanDuel as an internet gaming skin operated by Fanduel / Betfair since May 2022, and says Golden Nugget receives contractual payments rather than running the skin itself.

FanDuel’s New Jersey casino page carries a copyright line for Betfair Interactive US LLC. Its sportsbook in New Jersey is tied to a different licensee (the Meadowlands racetrack), so casino and sports licenses should not be confused. Check the casino permit on the DGE permit list.

Games

FanDuel’s New Jersey casino page names these game types:

  • Slots and jackpot games, including Megaways titles
  • Blackjack variants such as Multi-Hand Blackjack and Blackjack X-Change
  • American, European and First Person roulette
  • Baccarat, including live dealer
  • Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker, Texas Hold’em Plus and Game King video poker
  • Live dealer tables

Payments and withdrawals

FanDuel’s getting-started guide covers all of its casino states and says methods vary by state. For deposits it lists debit card, credit card, online banking, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, FanDuel Prepaid Play+, cash at counter, wire transfer, PayNearMe and gift cards. For withdrawals it lists debit card, online banking, Venmo, PayPal, cash at counter, Play+ and check.

According to the same guide, you can only withdraw to a debit card, Venmo, PayPal or Play+ after depositing with that same method, and prepaid debit cards cannot receive withdrawals. FanDuel says withdrawals are delivered within 24 hours, which is an operator statement rather than a guarantee. New Jersey players also have to pass identity checks, including public-record questions.

Player protection and support

New Jersey’s internet gaming rules (N.J.A.C. 13:69O) set the legal age at 21 and require operators to check a player’s physical location at login. Wagers are only accepted from people who are physically in New Jersey, so a VPN or an out-of-state device will be blocked.

FanDuel’s NJ casino page says players must be 21+ and present in New Jersey, lists 1-800-GAMBLER, and describes time limits, wager limits and self-exclusion tools.

The New Jersey Attorney General’s responsible gaming page points players to the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline. If a complaint with the operator is not resolved, the DGE accepts disputes once the player has a written response from the casino permit holder. The DGE’s internet gaming contact is igaming@njdge.gov or (609) 984-0909. See the DGE internet gaming information page and the Responsible Gaming in New Jersey page.

Our view

FanDuel suits New Jersey players who want a large casino lobby inside an app they may already use for sports. The DGE paperwork links it to Golden Nugget’s permit.

Before you sign up, confirm the Golden Nugget permit on the DGE list, check that your chosen payment method is live in the NJ cashier, and note the same-method rule for withdrawals. If you also bet on sports with FanDuel, remember that the DGE lists the sportsbook under a different licensee from the casino.
