Apple Pay and Google Pay store a payment card on your phone or wearable and let you approve payments with the same method you use to unlock the device. Interac notes that your Interac debit card can be added to either wallet, and that online you select the wallet at a participating merchant's checkout and confirm with your fingerprint, pattern or passcode (Interac). You need a Canadian bank account with a participating financial institution.
Some regulated Ontario casinos offer these wallets in their mobile cashier. A deposit takes a couple of taps and a fingerprint, face or passcode check. Withdrawals are a separate matter: a wallet offered for deposits is not necessarily offered for payouts, so check the cashier's withdrawal options first.
Fees and limits come from the card behind the wallet and from the casino, not from Apple or Google. As with any card, your bank's rules on gambling transactions still apply, and iGaming Ontario suggests checking them with your bank before you play (iGO FAQs).
