Play+ is a reloadable prepaid card designed for gaming. A Play+ cardholder agreement names Sightline Payments as program manager and Sutton Bank as issuer, and describes loading the card by bank card, eCheck, cash at participating locations, or deposits from a gaming account. The card can then fund your casino account, and winnings can be sent back to it.

DGE rules allow reloadable prepaid cards as long as the card is verified as issued to you and cannot be transferred. They also allow cash-outs to that same verified card, under N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.3.

Once winnings are on the card, you can spend from the card, withdraw at ATMs, or transfer to a bank account. Each of those steps can carry its own fee, and the agreement lists charges such as ATM withdrawals and inactivity. Read the fee schedule for your specific card, because programs differ by casino brand.

Many casinos issue their own branded Play+ card, so you may end up with more than one.
