Cards are the most familiar way to fund an account. DGE rules list a player's credit or debit card as a permitted funding method under N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.3, so credit cards are allowed at licensed New Jersey sites, unlike in some other markets.
Deposits are usually instant once the card is approved. Approval depends on your card issuer as well as the casino, so check with your bank if a deposit fails. Use a card in your own name, with details that match your casino account.
Withdrawals work in a specific order. Before any other withdrawal, the rules say the part of your balance funded by card, up to the amount you deposited, is refunded to that card if the issuer permits the return. Anything above that goes out through another method, such as a bank transfer.
If you use a credit card, you are gambling with borrowed money, so setting a deposit limit in your account settings is a sensible first step.
